Good food, Good coffee, brings back good memory, and Three Bags Full has been doing a great job making great food and coffee and made me wanting for more.

Lazy morning with a light sunshine ray, oh, what a perfect day for brunch at a hip cafe.  Miss P and I geared up and prepared ourselves for the cafe packed with eager brunch hunters lining up from inside to the large groups awaiting on the outside.  I warned Miss P that we could be waiting in the line for a while since there were loads of people arrived there before us.  I felt the vibe that Three Bags Full is the "It Girl" in town.

Who would have thought the old hat factory would turn out to be such a hip place like Three Bags Full.  They have done an awesome job with the decor, I must say.  The funky coffee cup lamps and the use of old work signs as a stools or tables, very unique and stylish indeed!

It didn't take us long to get a table.  Initially I was hoping that we would get to sit at the long table, but we were put in the small table in the next room.

I started of my meal with the soy latte ($4), just to give me a little kick since I am a coffee addicted.  The coffee was nicely made and the shot wasn't burnt - all thanks to the magic that the baristas done.  The sweetness of the creama was brought out and can be tasted through out the cup.

After a while, Miss P and myself made up our minds on the brunches, we both ordered poach eggs - I had them before and was telling Miss P about it, so pretty much she was influenced by me...hahaha.  The choices for today was Parmesan with extra Smoked salmon ($20) and Florentine with extra Bacon and Mushrooms ($22).  The Parmesan was the poached eggs served with prosciutto and parmesan cheese drizzled with truffle oil.  The Florentine was poached eggs with spinach and hollandaise sauce.

The meals took a while to come out since there were so many people inside and there were couple of large group got here before us.  So we had to wait for a bit and I got my second dose of caffeine for the day...another cup of latte ($3.50), full cream milk this time...so that I can enjoy the richness and smoothness of the coffee.

The eggs were nicely done, but this time the yolks weren't that gooey compared to my last visit.  Still, they have done great job with poach eggs and hollandaise sauce was amazing - rich and creamy, just the way it should be.  The parmesan and prosciutto surprisingly went well together, which gave us an eye opening experience.

Miss P also ordered the Aeropress coffee ($4) for a trial.  It was a type of filter coffee that offered here.  It was nicely presented as if it was a special type of drink.  The Aeropress came in a small vase lookalike with small glasses presented on the wooden board.  The aroma of the aeropress filled with cinnamon and honey, but quite light on the caffeine for our preferences.

Being inside Three Bags Full made us lost sense of time since we were wrapped in the moment with the ambiance and the hype of the conversations.  By the time we finished the enjoyable meals, it was lunch time...and guess what, there were more people queuing up for the tables! Three Bags Full is indeed on a list of 'must-go' cafes for other Melburnians.
