This blog is a culinary journey of NiCNAC and friends tasting their ways around Melbourne (and hopefully, the world). 

It only occurred to me recently about writing a blog to capture the memory of food and experience that I had.  With the suggestion and encouragement from colleagues and friends, I finally have this blog up and running, a little late, but better than none.

My dear companions that always there to help me capture the wonderful moment are my Canon DSLR and Fuji X100.  When they aren't there, my reliable iPhone does the job for me, it ain't perfect, but it still manages to capture the moment.


I believe food can lift a person's mood, can cheer someone up, when he/she is feeling down.  Food can also boost up one's happiness, can add more joy and fun to everyone.

I enjoy food from different cuisines, not limited to Western or Asian, savory or sweet. I found eating variety of food helps to improve your sensory and gives your taste buds some exercise! 

With the love of food, hence, came the name "Fork, Knife and Chopsticks".
